OSAS Testing:  OSAS testing began this past Wednesday for 5th grade students. 5th graders tested in the area of Science. This week, beginning Tuesday,  students in grade 3-5 will test students in Math. Please ensure your child is prepared for testing by optimizing brain power. You can do this with three simple tasks:

  1. Make sure your child gets a good nights’ sleep - most kids need 8-10 hours each night

  2. Help your child get a good breakfast -either at home or bring them to school by 8am for FREE breakfast in the cafeteria. Encourage protein as it helps brain power!

  3. Keep frustrations at home to a minimum on test days - start the morning routine a few minutes early so that no one is rushing, help siblings to support each other and try to keep things positive. Kids put pressure on themselves and keeping testing mornings free of extra stress can help your child to do better and feel more confident for his/her test

**Also, if you’d like to support your child’s class, please send in snack items that help with brain power. We are asking for sources of protein like hard boiled eggs, cheese sticks, yogurt, hummus & pita chips, almonds or trail mix, etc.

Please read regarding SEED survey at end of OSAS testing: CLICK HERE

Library News: Wednesday, May 21 will be the last day for check out this year. ALL books will be due the following Wednesday, May 28. Emails go home each Sunday night to help your family keep track of books currently checked out and those that may have been lost. Please help your student get their books back to school so we can have the library ready for fun again next year!

We're happy to share that we have a brand new way for our community to support our school library!
